Scary Stories
Halloween marks the beginning of Winter and a time of renewal. On this spooky occasion, it's time for us to come together and share some stories.
This Samhain, we'd like to invite you along to hear some stories of magic and folklore. Our theme for this event is Scary Stories II, so come along to hear some of the stories for a scare.
We'll have some incredible speakers with us, and it might give you some ideas for a tale to tell at our next event at the Winter Solstice.

About Us
What is Project Béaloideas?
Project Béaloideas is a new setup for Irish storytellers to uncover their roots, whether those roots were planted in Éire or anywhere else.
We aim to breathe life back into Irish culture, and to nourish the old tales of Sean Nós with new stories from across the sea.
Meet the Team!
Emily Miller
Head Editor
Emily is a multidisciplinary Irish artist and researcher who recently graduated from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin with First Class Honours in Fine Art Paint. Emily is also researching Celtic Pagan lore and the role of women in the history of art in Ireland which was partially inspired by her studies of Sarah Cecilia Harrison. Growing up on a sheep farm in County Laois inspired in her a deep respect of the natural world. An environmental advocate above all else, much of her research, motivation and imagery come directly from Irish nature and the landscape. Emily will be exhibiting her work at the Irish Museum of Modern Art at the Earth Rising Festival in October 2022.
Oisín Ó Dubhshláine
Creative Director
Oisín is a third year student, currently studying Law at UCD. He has always felt a connection to an Ghaeilge and has a great enthusiasm for celebrating Irish culture in an open and inviting manner. He likes sharing stories and loves hearing the tales others have to share even more. Still developing his skills in writing stories and poetry, he started this project as a way to connect with others, so they could all realise the stories that live in the air around them.
